(Likely) minus go-to guy Cooper Kupp (hamstring), the Rams’ offensive outlook is bleak amid rumors that 35-year-old Matthew Stafford has struggled to relate to his younger teammates. Stafford’s next-most-experienced weapon is Tyler Higbee, who offers legit double-digit-target potential against a Seattle backend missing SS Jamal Adams (quad) and possibly first-round CB Devon Witherspoon (hamstring). No defense allowed more fantasy tight end points than the Seahawks’ last season. Higbee is a hot DFS play. … I’m ranking the Rams’ remaining wideouts as so: Van Jefferson > Tutu Atwell > Puka Nacua > Ben Skowronek > Demarcus Robinson. … Cam Akers averaged 5.0 yards per carry across Weeks 11-18 last season, scoring six TDs over the final six games and topping 100 yards in three straight to close out the year. Akers’ top competition for touches is 194-pound Theo Riddick clone Kyren Williams, whose game is best suited for special teams and occasional passing downs. I’m treating Akers as a volume-based RB2.
